EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: RN license. Clinical license. MBA/MPH/MS/MHA/MN.


QUALIFICATIONS: Nursing or clinical experience in Obstetrics. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Experience working in partnership with physicians on project management. Expertise with word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and presentation software. Demonstrated customer service. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and self-directed.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Administrative experience in the medical office setting. Experience evaluating quality data. Ability to work independently, exercise discretion and sound judgment. Accuracy, productivity and dependability. Communication in mass media/public relations and governmental agencies. Ability to work in a Labor-Management Partnership environment.


DUTIES: Provides high quality and cost effective project management, management consulting, and analytical support for a broad array of physician groups and issues. Support the Perinatal Physician Coordinators. Support the Perinatal Physician Coordinators in development and implementation of an empanelment program for Obstetrical members. Support the Perinatal Physician Coordinators in development and implementation of an improvement of service program for Obstetrical members. Assist the Perinatal Physician coordinators to mobilize local resources toward Obstetrical service improvement. Facilitate communication among facilities, assuring the sharing of best practices in women?s reproductive health. Develop and coordinate strategies to successfully implement the Perinatal plan in conjunction with coordinator. Assist in developing and evaluating quality data for OBGYN Services. Collaborates with Public Affairs to provide unified response reflecting Kaiser Permanente?s stance on obstetrical/reproductive issues raised by the government, the media and other outside organizations. Collaborate with WHLCO Physician Coordinator, PCM Breast Care Consultant, and Inpatient Perinatal Nursing Coordinator. Provide linkage to key non-obstetrical services (e.g. radiology, surgery, anesthesia) to assure the highest quality of care for reproductive medicine and OBGYN care. Communicate with TPMG to share best practices. Provide input on contracting obstetrical-women?s reproductive care hospital services outside of KP.
