Pension Analyst - Retirement

A retirement benefit analyst calculates individual pensions and manages the database for defined benefit plans. To fulfill this role, the analyst will:

Perform individual pension calculations for terminated or retired participants either manually or using Excel spreadsheetsInterpret plan documents and follow administrative procedures related to benefit calculationsUpdate spreadsheets and administrative procedures as necessaryPrepare and manipulate data for special projectsParticipate in administrative consulting projects, as required.


Strong math and analytical skills; math or related degree preferred but not required Ability to work well under pressure; able to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
