Position Overview
The Benefits Administration Team of Watson Wyatt?s Boston office Retirement Practice is seeking a Benefits Analyst to perform recurring plan administrative services for defined benefit plans, serve as client liaison for plan administrative issues and processing; assist with project work and additional client requirements.

Responsibilities
Meet day-to-day analysis and administration needs with respect to clients' defined benefit pension plans, including benefit calculations, government filings and benefit statements.
Complete estimated and actual defined benefit pension calculations using a variety of calculator systems.
Coordinate preparation of initial correspondence on routine administrative services.
Ensure all activities for a plan are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain complete and accurate work papers and audit trails including updating plan processing and administrative documentation.
Work closely with other benefit analysts, actuarial analysts and consultants.
Prepare annual government filings for pension plans.
Research participant questions and plan issues.
Work with client's attorneys, accountants, and trustees to ensure proper plan analysis and administration.
Read and understand the client's plan documents, amendments, etc.
Communicate with other associates on a proactive and ongoing basis.
Participate in meetings, training and practice improvement initiatives.
