Peoplesoft Applications DBAs needed, must have demonstrated min of 5 years experience and have current skills/abilities to perform the following activities with limited no supervision: At least two engagements where you have been responsible for the implementation of PeopleSoft on an Oracle platform. At least three performance tuning engagement where you have successfully improved the overall performance of the PeopleSoft application utilizing Oracle Tuning best practices. As an experienced professional PeopleSoft Application DBA you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and performance tuning of a PeopleSoft application running on a Unix/Oracle platform. Specifically, you will be: Preparing technical architecture implementation strategies and plans Designing and implementing PeopleSoft infrastructures and environments in complex Unix / Oracle database configurations Implementing and recommending technical standards, procedures, and best practices related to tuning a PeopleSoft Oracle environment Designing and implementing configuration of Tuxedo application servers, process schedulers and web servers Performing Oracle DBA functions Performing PeopleSoft System Administrator functions Designing and coordinating system load testing Designing and implementing configuration of change control and software migration Assisting with the design and implementation of backup and recovery Assisting with the design and implementation of disaster recovery Performing system performance tuning.
Exp performing technical infrastructure tuning for the Peoplesoft apps; Exp
conducting knowledge transfer activities to client personnel; Has played a
