Performance Improvement Manager

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory group delivers comprehensive client services related to transactions, performance improvement, and risk management. The group leverages capabilities to solve critical issues impacting Financial Services organizations such as:
- Gaining timely, cost effective access to accurate financial and operational information
- Strengthening Performance Management, Budgeting and Forecasting Capabilities
- Optimizing Cash Flow and the Use of Capital
- Building and Maintaining Cost Effective Controls
- Regulatory and Compliance issues around Sarbanes-Oxley, Basel II, AML, KYC, - and US Patriot Act
- Managing operational, financial and market risk

We currently have an opportunity for a Manager in our Chicago practice.

Job Requirement Essential

The ideal candidate will have:
- 7 -10 years experience in Financial Services: Banking, Insurance, Investment Management
- Applied experience in key functional areas: Operations, Risk Management, Compliance
- Demonstrated performance and process improvement expertise in simplifying processes, reducing costs, and decreasing cycle times
- IT and Systems experience a plus: IT governance and controls, data management, ERP
- Experience in leading teams and departments, and managing individuals? performance
- Broad-based exposure to other risk management disciplines involving market and operational risks
Ability to travel up to 80%
