Pharmacy Practice Associate

The Pharmacy group operates within the Specialty Practice of Health & Welfare. It focuses on providing specialized consulting to employer clients around development and management of pharmacy benefits to employees.

The role of the Pharmacy Associate will be to work with lead Pharmacy consultants in advising clients on pharmacy matters including, but not limited to:


Pharmacy strategy, plan design and pricing, including on the impact of the Medicare Modernization Act
Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) procurements, performance management and audits
Formulary design and management
Pharmacy benefit communications
Pharmacy Collaborative implementations and ongoing client service
Specialty drugs
Trend management

Qualifications:


Registered Pharmacist, PharmD preferred with strong clinical skills
MBA or other business degree preferred, but not required
Strong desire to develop into a key client-facing role
Solid project management skills and ability to multi-task
2-4 years experience in a consulting or PBM/managed care environment preferred but not required
Ability to manage multiple projects on time and with high quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly
Ability to travel 20% of time within region.
