Product Analyst – Payment Efficiency

The Product Analyst, Payment Efficiency, will be tasked with maximizing the online payment efficiency of Orbitz and CheapTickets, by monitoring the effectiveness of current payment methods, and by analyzing and implementing new payment methods.  We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated, superstar to fill this role.

Here?s what we want you to do as a Product Analyst ? Payment Efficiency:Develop a online payment product vision, including strategy, plan, and initiatives, for Orbitz and CheapTickets Evaluate ongoing payment effectiveness, track performance against forecasted objectives, and work with Marketing, and the Product Vertical teams to improve efficiencyEvaluate and implement alternate payment methodsChampion the consumers? online shopping experience, driving the product to provide a superior and differentiating user experienceIdentify opportunities to increase conversion and revenue, decrease operating costs, and improve the customer experience through product innovation and operational efficiencies Develop business cases for projects, and track ROIManage product development through the creation and maintenance of business and functional requirements, process workflows, use cases, reporting requirements and test cases Collaborate with Information Architecture, Technology and Creative, Editorial and Front End Production to understand feasibility and constraints of potential alternative solutionsCommunicate team?s accomplishments upward and outward throughout organizationWork closely with Project Management to ensure product features are successfully released

Qualifications:Minimum 4-6 years experience with 2+ years of product management experience leading e-commerce/website product development in a fast paced environment Expert knowledge of ecommerce payment methods and a strong understanding of the web development lifecycleRequires ability to work with resources throughout the organization with minimum guidanceB.A./B.S. required, MBA a plus  Preferred: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to review data and develop actionable project programs based on findings. Preferred: SQL and Web Analytics a plusExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong product requirement and project management skills.Approachable, fair, and demonstrates a broad business sense and good business judgment On-line retail experience a plus
