DEFINITION:

The Product Strategist / Thought Leader analyzes industry trends to identify key unsolved business problems, and creates innovative solutions to these problems, gaining and maintaining a competitive edge for Lightbridge. The Product Strategist is tasked with anticipating and meeting the business problems of our existing clients, while at the same time providing solutions that open the doors to new clients, markets, and industries.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Researching and analyzing business trends and issues in the telecommunications, financial, security, and other industriesInventing innovative solutions that address key unsolved business problems and provide value to our clients and to LightbridgeIdentifying potential partners and data sources, performing data trials and ROI analyses to evaluate them, and collaborating with partners to develop new solutionsSupporting the sales team in reaching out to prospectsChampioning new product ideas within the companyCreating prototypes to validate usability and business value of new solutions Providing thought leadership both within the company and externally by means of white papers, conference presentations, webinars, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree or PhD in quantitative and/or business-related field Thorough understanding of industry trends and business issues in at least one of the following areas: analytics, risk management, transaction processing, credit analysis, identity fraud, finance, security7-10 years experience as researcher, strategist, product analyst, modeler, business analyst, or similar role Excellent ability to recognize and complex problems and create innovative solutionsExcellent ability to apply analytic and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, leadership, and consensus-building skills Ability to be responsive and persuasive to all levels of the organization
