Professional Services Consultant

 

Basic Purpose:

 

? Provides Level 2 Technical Support to Six Disciplines Franchise?s (known as Leadership Centers) Team Members; and directly to Clients as necessary

? Answers complex questions on function and usage of product, system configuration/setup via Email or Telephone

? Serves as primary Support Liaison between Corporate and Leadership Centers

? Travels to Leadership Centers and Clients as required assisting with Training, Server Installations, Product Implementations, etc.

? Manages Leadership Center Rollout projects

? Provides Client feedback to product development staff - Leadership Center/Client Advocate

? Possesses expert knowledge of company?s products and system configuration/setup

? Provides training and leadership to less senior support professionals

? Operates with little supervision

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

? Resolves highly complex Leadership Center/Client questions or problems, over the phone or via email.  This includes the areas of system configuration/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements.

? Serves as primary Support Liaison between Corporate and Leadership Centers.

? Keeps Leadership Centers informed of how and when problems are resolved.

? Involved in any additional follow-up, testing and troubleshooting.

? Responsible for appropriate referral to other support and development areas.

? Provides professional, knowledgeable product and process training to Leadership Centers.

? Provides guidance and management of Leadership Center Rollout project for new Leadership Centers

? Performs Product Testing

? Participate in product design & requirements meetings

? Assist Testing Department with new release and new functionality testing.

? Identifies content to be published in Assistance (online help)

? Reviews & Identifies Incidents that should be turned into online Assistance Content

? Reviews Assistance Documentation as required

? Engages Product Development Subject Matter Experts for assistance and review

? Promotes and maintains a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image focused on Excellence in Service.

? Provides ongoing leadership to less experienced Technical Support Professionals.

 

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment:

 

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent training in business or computer science.  Typically requires 7-10 years with a minimum of 5+ years of product support, consulting, project management and/or implementation related experience.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

? Expert knowledge of company products, system configuration and network architecture

? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

? Excellent time, project management, decision making and organization skills.

? Excellent written communication skills.

? Excellent PC skills. 

 

Equipment and Applications:
PC and related software applications. Heavy telephone/Internet usage.
