Project Management and Business Analysis Senior/Managing Consultant

 Project Leadership Associates, Inc. is a high growth, Chicago based, professional services company (over 115 full time professionals) that specializes in providing the mid-sized business marketplace with business and technology consulting solutions across its full breadth of Management Consulting and technology solution practices.  The firm is expanding dramatically and desires to identify consulting candidates with professional services, law firm and corporate legal department applications, business and technology experience.

 

Overall Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for performing business analysis activities and project management consulting services across a wide continuum of planning, process, organization and technology-based client projects.  Of special focus is our law firm consulting practice where we deliver business and technology consulting services to assist mega, large and medium sized legal and professional services firms.  Consultant will deliver services and will have overall responsibility for:

?  managing the client relationship (typically in conjunction with company management and/or account management personnel)

?  developing and managing scope, hours and costs of work performed

?  managing client teams comprised of Project Leadership and client personnel

?  identifying, managing and mitigating project and client issues during the course of projects

 

Consultant Project Responsibilities:Lead business and technology identification, design, development and implementation projects using Project Leadership Associates best practice setsPerform general project management activities, including:Manage project teams (both internal and client)Develop and manage scope of work and project plansManage projects to client satisfactionManage projects to budget Facilitate required status and other meetings with client and staffProvide Presales and Proposal development assistanceLead and deliver solution selection projectsAnalyze business requirementsDevelop client recommendation setsIdentify other business opportunities

 

Requirements:

 Eight (8) years minimum experience managing Information Technology projects, five (5) of which were lead Project Manager rolesThree (3) years minimum supervisory experienceFive (5) years minimum consulting experienceStrong client communications, client relationship development and management and business influence skills
