Project Manager – CRM Package Implementation

Project manager with 7+years experience spearheading medium to large scale front office CRM package implementation efforts.  Prior package implementation experience with RightNow Technologies, SalesForce.com, SalesLogix, Clarify, or Seibel helpful.

 

Candidate must have prior experience managing projects and collaborative teams through all phases of the project lifecycle (scope definition, requirements definition, design, build, test, and implementation) to produce formal business documents and deliverables that are associated with each phase.  Responsibilities include project scope definition and management, proposal development, management of projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, and coordination of project team efforts to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations.

 

Candidate must have business experience in building and implementing one or more of the following business systems: customer service, field service force automation, sales force automation, logistics, help desk, or electronic commerce, knowledge management, customer self service.  Candidate should also have experience assessing backend integration needs for integrating CRM packages with existing business systems and technologies.

 

Candidate should have strong understanding of technologies: networking, platforms, operating system management, application development, and software development.

 

Candidate must have extensive experience using formal project management and software development methodologies to track and manage projects to successful completion.  Candidate must have a strong sense of urgency to deliver projects on-schedule, within-budget, and to exceed customer expectations.

 

The successful candidate must have excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, a solid foundation in business application development, the ability to interface and manage end-users and software engineers, a "can do" attitude, and the willingness to travel.

 

Candidate must be able to develop formal business documents following established formats.  Should have experience using more than one of the following documentation/presentation software packages (or similar products from other vendors): MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint, and Visio.

 

Must be able to excel in different work environments, including the ability to work effectively with limited guidance from managers.  Should also have the ability to adapt to a client?s culture and work well with unfamiliar team members.

 

Additional Notes:

Willingness to travel 60% of their time.

Prior consulting experience is desirable.
