Project Manager - Banking Operations

Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.

BearingPoint's Banking and Payment's Practice within the Financial Services Sector is currently seeking Project Managers to run mid to large-scale consulting projects in the banking industry.

Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and direction of multiple consulting projects or a single large and complex project for Financial Services clients. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining a client base, managing client relationships, building and mentoring project teams.

Requirements:

Must have seven to nine years of a combination of consulting and general Financial Services industry experience with strong background in project management as well as Treasury management systems.

Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.

Strong consulting skills are required including ability to analyze fact patterns, present alternatives and recommendations to Senior Management as well as plan, execute and control engagements.

Will also assist business development teams with writing and presenting proposals for large or complex projects.

Subject Matter Expert in bank operations including Day One & Day Two check with process & technology skills, Treasury Services, retail banking, or branch automation.

All candidates will have significant financial services experience in either a multi-national bank or a professional services firm, working with multinational banking clients and should have good, generalist financial services skills, in addition to their Treasury expertise.

Additionally, the candidate will need to have extensive knowledge of payment transaction systems and Web-based application development methodology.

Locations: Charlotte, Atlanta

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule
