Project Manager -- Contract Compliance

 

 

The CPSR initiative is designed to assess the Department of Labor, National Office of Job Corps center operating contractors? purchasing systems.  Project Manager responsibilities include:

 

? Interfacing with DOL officials on a regular basis to discuss project status

? Completing monthly project status reports

? Conducting CPSR reviews at operating contractors' corporate offices and cognizant Job Corps centers to assess purchasing compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

? Completing final reports upon each review, to include corrective action plans, and written correspondence between operating contractors and DOL officials

? Managing the CPSR budget and approving monthly invoices to DOL

? Requires significant travel -- 30-40%

? Requires extensive knowledge of the FAR and experience in purchasing systems

? Requires management of one Research Associate assigned to the project
