Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Pension administration, benefit administration, HR systems consulting, or a combination of project management and technology experience
Functional or industry knowledge of pension benefits systems, HRIS, Computer Science/MIS/HR products/implementation, and/or process reengineering.
Functional knowledge of pension/ defined benefit plans and administrative requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted systems consulting solutions is required.
Detail oriented.
Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.
Effective listening skills.
Demonstrate time management and project organizational skills.
Demonstrate client service focus and flexibility in supporting client requests.
Actively and effectively lead a project team.
Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Experience in: MS-Project, MS-Excel, Windows XP and Windows 2000
Knowledge and experience in consulting with clients on business and service delivery solutions. Strong knowledge of best practices, marketplace providers, cost and return on investment issues, pros and cons of solutions, challenges and methodology regarding solution implementation.
Application domain knowledge and experience at the function level of various software packages, vendor solutions and best practices.
Ability to work well under tight timing deadlines

Position Overview


Actively leads the TSP Pension Line of Business in their area by delivering project management, consulting and sales support for pension clients. Works closely with the Technology Solutions practice and Retirement practice to develop, implement and maintain technology-based solutions and services that meet client requirements and Watson Wyatt commitments. Uses system development knowledge, defined benefit expertise and management experience to oversee new system implementations and the maintenance of existing systems and ongoing services.


Responsibilities

Develop and maintain internal and external client business relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain internal relationships (cross-line of business and cross-practice) to create seamless solutions and services for clients
Support the development of new business with existing and potential clients
Manage new system implementations and existing system maintenance for on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery to clients. Management includes obtaining resources, delegating responsibility for sub-projects and tasks, monitoring status and scope, reviewing and revising deliverables, tracking budgets, and communicating with interested parties.
