Public Health Process Improvement Sr. Consultant

The BearingPoint Public Health Practice is currently searching for Process Improvement Senior Consultant.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Atlanta, GA office. No relocation is offered.

Bearingpoint is seeking a highly motivated individual with a consistent record of academic excellence, personal achievement and leadership. The position requires a strong background in project, performance and strategic management. The candidate should have experience working with public sector clients, preferably in public heath, social services, and/or health care. This position requires previous consulting experience. The candidate must be able to take instruction from others as well as lead individual work efforts. Knowledge in grants management and budgeting, cost analyses, process re-engineering and improvement are a must. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to frequency of work with client and changing client needs, strong organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills including business writing and presentation creation/delivery. Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including MS. Project and MS. Visio).

Job Requirements:
. 5 plus years of professional experience
. 3 plus years consulting experience
. 3 plus years project management skills, performance and strategic management.
. 2 years experience in business process improvement.
. 2 years team management experience.
. 2 years Microsoft Project and Visio.
. Bachelors Degree required and MA, MBA preferred.

Preferred
. Significant experience in budgeting and cost analyses
. Experience in performance measurement, evaluation, and reporting.
. Superior writing and verbal communication skills, as well as experience in client and executive presentations.
. Superior analytical and organizational skills.
. Superior multi-tasking skills.
. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable interviewing and interacting with health care personnel at all levels.
. Proven experience in client management; diplomacy is a must.
. Ability to quickly become a subject matter expert on client's work.
. Preferred knowledge of Federal Performance Planning (e.g. PART, GPRA, CJ, A-11, and Performance Budget) is preferred.
. Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred
