Qualified Plan Administrators work with external clients to manage third-party qualified retirement plans and assist plan sponsors and broker/dealers in establishing and maintaining retirement plans. Qualified Plan Administrators oversee day-to-day plan administration including recordkeeping, research, and correspondence with plan sponsors, plan participants, and brokers/dealers. They ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping as well as IRS reporting including preparation of IRS Form 5500. They have a thorough understanding of mutual fund operations and qualified plan regulatory requirements including annual compliance testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), etc.).

Qualifications
Must have prior experience preparing form 5500, performing compliance testing (ADP/ACP, top heavy, etc). Experience reading, drafting and restating plan documents and prior experience drafting training materials or providing training for other administrators is a plus. Must have passed some or all of the ASPPA exams necessary to obtain OKA designation (or CEEBS).
