Quality Assurance Analyst - Fraud Solutions

Kroll Background America Inc., a world class leader in background intelligence and employment screening, has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst in the Fraud Solutions unit of our Nashville office.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the Fraud organization.? This individual will work closely with the IT Project Manager and IT in support of business initiatives, and assist in the development of detailed unit, user acceptance, and regression test plans and test cases based on the review of technical specifications and user requirements.? They will fully execute these test plans either manually or through automation methods.

The QA Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating and facilitating meetings for reviewing of test plans and test cases to ensure the accuracy and completion of documentation, as well as report and communicate all work and project status to management.? They will ensure that the Software Development Life Cycle methodology is appropriately completed for each phase of the process, and escalate issues to the IT Project Manager and the Director of Project Management as required.

The ideal candidate is an individual that exhibits a conceptual understanding and hands-on execution of the Quality Assurance Life Cycle, and the fundamental ability to work in a project-based, detail-oriented, deadline-driven work environment.? You must demonstrate a working knowledge of estimating and scheduling techniques applicable to project planning activities.? You will be required to proactively identify problems, make recommendations regarding solutions, and exhibit initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision.

Candidates should also be proficient in utilizing a myriad of computer systems, including .NET, SQL, MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.? A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred; however, comparable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.? Working knowledge of configuration management and change control, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills that would allow you to successfully interact with many individuals and teams is also critical in this role.
