IBM is seeking Consultants with extensive RFID
(Radio Frequecy Identification) experience, as well as, 5+ years experience with Logistics and Supply Chain Management to be part of the IBM RFID practice. The consultant must have at least 2+ years experience in leading
multiple RFID projects in the areas of RFID Business Cases/Value Proposition development, RFID pilot development and execution, and more wide scale RFID
implementation. Since the projects will mostly be in the areas of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, global transportation, consumer goods, and retail, experience in one or more of these areas is necessary. Although
this position is not technical in nature, a solid understanding of RFID technology and system integration is required. Experience in WMS such as SAP WM, Red Prairie, and Manhattan is a plus. Since most of our work is performed at client sites, this position requires up to 100% travel. It is recommended that new hires into the IBM Global Business Services U.S. practice must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the following cites: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC and surrounding area.
