Qualifications
Previous receptionist experience in a professional environment
Must project professional demeanor at all times
Ability to maintain a high level of customer service
Excellent verbal communication skills
Pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with clients and co-workers on the phone and in person
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Punctual with a history of attendance reliability
Ability to work independently as well as in a team with one other receptionist
Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.

Position Overview
Responsible for greeting visitors and routing calls in a prompt and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
Greet/process visitors and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments
Receive incoming calls on a frequently busy, multi-line switchboard; answer general inquiries; connect callers with appropriate individual or department
Administer Mass Transit program. Attention to detail a must.
Keep reception desk and waiting area neat and orderly
Maintain associate telephone lists
Prepare items for messenger or express delivery
Receive and log incoming packages; promptly notify recipient, recipient's Administrative Assistant
