Regional HR Representative II (4077)
Job Description: Basic Function: Responsible for providing Human Resources support to assigned region to include recruitment, employee relations, benefit, and compensation issues. The position is the sole human resource representative for a geographic region.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the employment process for assigned region including job postings, recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting credit and reference, and extending job offers. Maintain Recruitmax for region, updating interviews, offers, etc. Conduct employee training sessions. Act in a liaison capacity between corporate departments and assigned Division personnel, responding to questions and resolving problems. Review salary actions, coaching managers on compensation issues.Consult and advise management on employee relations issues, policies, and procedures. Assist with disciplinary procedures, including termination. Participate in unemployment cases, attending unemployment hearings.Manage personnel files, process personnel changes, and maintain current applicant tracking system. Recommend enhancements to human resources policies and procedures. Implement new and revised policies, communicating changes to business areas. Keep informed of human resources issues, regulations, and changes.Build a strong working relationship with regional management, assisting in the strategy and execution of regional staffing plans. Attend divisional management meetings. Ensure business management is kept informed of human resource issues.Perform other related assignments and projects as requested by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.Five (5) to seven (7) years banking and/or Human Resources generalist experience. General knowledge of personal computers and related software programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills. Must be customer service oriented.
