Regulatory Compliance Manager

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory Services Group is currently looking for a motivated and experienced regulatory and compliance manager desiring an opportunity to work in a variety of federal and state regulatory compliance areas for industry-leading financial services institutions - including banks, thrifts, mortgage banks and broker dealers.

This role provides regulatory consulting and audit services to domestic and foreign banking institutions and their non-bank subsidiaries and affiliates through a variety of engagements. With respect to compliance advisory services, we are routinely engaged by legal counsel to conduct mock federal bank compliance examinations including consumer, Fair Lending, Predatory Lending, CRA, and BSA/AML/Patriot Act, and safety and soundness (e.g., Reg W, Reg O) examinations.

We are also routinely engaged to perform special diagnostic reviews of the independence and operating effectiveness of enterprise-wide compliance functions, and to assist institutions with compliance testing and training, developing compliance policies and procedures, and compliance due diligence on acquisitions of portfolios and/or institutions.

Job Requirement Essential

We seek qualified candidates with:
? Knowledge of bank operating structures and procedures and core consumer and business products
? 7 - 10 years of experience with performing compliance audits, compliance examinations as a member of a federal or state banking agency
? Knowledge and understanding of federal and state bank regulations and their applicability in a domestic or foreign bank environment
? Working knowledge of the bank regulatory supervision process
? Strong technical, analytical, and research skills
? An ability to work both independently and in a team environment
? CRCM certification and/or certification/commissioning by a federal bank regulatory agency is desirable, but not necessary

The location of this position is Chicago, however, applicants must be willing to travel extensively nationally
