Risk and Quality Management Lead

High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi)An environment of Knowledge Leaders HPTi seeks candidates for a Risk and Quality Management Specialist combines executive consulting expertise with specialized knowledge of risk and quality management. Candidate will develop risk and quality management strategies and processes for this project, which is charged with the co-location and consolidation of medical center focused implementations of health care delivery capabilities to regional centers across the country. This project is intended to reduce 128 local sites to under 10 regional sites. Challenges include not only technology and communications, but also the organizational change management that will need to be orchestrated with no impact to the delivery of health care at the medical centers. Candidate will work collaboratively with other consultants, technologists and executives across VHA to plan for the rollout of these strategies in concert with other RDPC PMO strategies being developed in parallel and considering the processes, governance, and impact of the HealtheVet-VistA Program. Monthly travel anticipated to nationwide locations.Skills Required:  Candidate is a seasoned consultant, with 10+ years experience in technology consulting and project management. Consulting experience must include experience with project management, risk analysis, risk planning, capital planning and quality management of complex programs. Candidate is detail oriented, with excellent writing and presentation skills. Candidate is adept with dealing with executives and driving consensus among strong personalities. All-in-all, the individual is a seasoned project management consulting generalist with some specific risk management background and experience working successfully in complex, executive environment. Excellent executive presence a must.

Education: Bachelor of Science in related area. VA experience or extensive technology experience in the healthcare arena preferred. PMP preferred.
