SAP Basis Consultant (Virtual location) (3923)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation , a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients, is currently looking for a SAP Basis Principal Consultant to join our Consulting Solutions Team.

Job Responsibilities:

The role of BASIS Consultant will be to lead the BASIS portion from the initial design and discovery phase through the project implementation and support.

Required Skills:

6+ years of SAP BASIS experience.

Strong prior technical project management experience in a consulting environment.

UNIX/NT/Linux system administrator experience.

Oracle/DB2/SQLServer administration experience.

ABAP programming experience/exposure.

SAP Network and Desktop GUI experience.

Must have experience with ECC 5.0 (mySAP ERP 2004) or later release and experience with Netweaver.

Strong core consulting skills - communication, organization and planning, client facing and interpersonal.

Strong understanding of all aspects of the SAP implementation lifecycle and a solid grasp of the ASAP Methodology.

Have participated in multiple (at least two) successful SAP implementations (full life cycle).

Ideal candidate will have started career at a Big 5 consulting house.

Experience developing and deploying SAP application security.

Specific Skill Requirements:

BASIS includes - Correction and Transport (CTS)/Promote-to-Production (PTP), SAP Security, SAP Print Spooling, DDIC/Workbench, and CCMS/Performance Tuning.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Prefer a Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

SAP Certification would be preferred, but not required.

**WORK LOCATION VIRTUAL, with convenient access to a major US airport. 75-100% travel required**
