SAP Business Warehouse Consultant

As an SAP BW consultant you will formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects. This includes program design; coding; testing; debugging; and documentation. This position requires full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.

Responsibilities include:


Primary focus will be to design, develop and test the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) components required to support reporting requirements including BW infocubes, virtual infocube, infoobjects, BW extractors, objects etc. as necessary.
Responsible for creating Technical Design Documents based on the Functional Design Documents recreating by the Functional Analyst
Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by writing corresponding Detail Design Specifications
Responsible for developing high quality solutions based on completed Technical Design Documents
Responsible for sourcing data from R/3 and external files/tables, web application development as well as support in the areas of security, transports, etc
Hands-on ABAP development of SAP BW data extracting, loading, and JAVA web reporting. Design, development, and delivery of SAP Business Warehouse data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process.
Identify and document benefits, costs, and risks associated with solution alternatives
Consult with the design team to ensure the technical/business design matches the overall/high level requirements and system needs, including business continuity for complex systems/products
Provide leadership throughout the design phase of the project and coordinate all of the design functions
Provide recognized domain expertise across systems and technologies
Mentor less knowledgeable staff members

Minimum Requirements:


3+ years of US experience working SAP BW full life cycle implementations. Must have experience with HR Module integration.
Willingness to travel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proven analytical and communication skills along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Customer service and detail oriented.

Desired Qualifications:


Business experience within the Human Resources environment would be preferred but not required
