SAP SEM BPS Managing Consultant --- Full Time--Leading IT Service Company

Our client is one of the leaders in IT services consulting.  They are seeking a full time permanent SEM BPS Managing Consultant.  This position can be based out of any major city in the U.S. as long as you are near a major airport.

 The successful candidate should have 2-3 years of SAP SEM/BPS development experience preferably with a finance background in the planning, budgeting and forecasting area.

 The candidate should have 5 plus years experience in SAP Finance, completed 5 full life cycle engagements and lead teams of at least 4 staff.

 This position will work with end-users to define business planning and reporting requirements; converting them into functional specifications and assessing them against the standard usage of SAP SEM business content to determine appropriate BPS design.

 Design, implement and support complex layouts, development of planning areas, multi-planning areas, version planning, planning levels, packages and folders and data slices.

 Strong ability to do modeling for planning development using ABAP/FOX/VBA and must have ability to use the retractor to in conjunction with understanding of Performance Tuning design choices.

 Must have familiarity with SAP-BW terminology, structure and functionality.

 Must have the ability to support a BPS environment including accuracy of the data, performance monitoring/tuning, and other regular maintenance activities

 You must be willing to travel Monday through Friday up to 100% if necessary.
