SOA Training and Curriculum Development Specialist

 NATURE OF WORK

At MomentumSI, the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Training and Curriculum Development Specialist works with our major enterprise clients to help them transform their IT workforce to the use of service oriented approaches. This trainer will work primarily with to executives, managers and business analysts. The role includes education and evangelism.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUpdate lecture materials that support transfer of SOA concepts and practices.Create engaging facilitate exercises and workshops that improve understanding and applicability of conceptsGather best practices from consultants working on client engagements and incorporate them into training.Work with subject matter experts to improve training material.Adapt training material to particular customer requirements.Deliver training courses which are typically one or two days in length.Describe training offerings to potential customers as part of sales efforts.Create whitepapers, articles, and presentations to support thought leadership efforts.Identify consulting and other business opportunities at client sites.

 

QUALIFICATIONSExperience in successful service oriented environments.Excellent communication skills including mastery of written & spoken EnglishExperience presenting to C-level executives.At least five years of experience with full software lifecycle in large enterprises with particular emphasis on architecture and analysis.B.S. in computer science or similar degree.Travel is required for this position. Typical work at client site is expected to average two days a week with peaks of four days per week.Must live close to airport with relatively easy access to anywhere in the US,
