STEM Analyst (580)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Position on the research staff of a private, not-for-profit management consulting organization located in McLean, VA.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate and lead tasks in the design, conduct, and analyses of government STEM projects.
Develop and implement STEM study plans.
Develop strategic and business STEM performance measures.
Conduct group and executive team facilitation.
Conduct client interviews and focus groups.
Design and develop data collection instruments.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses based upon the scientific method.
Develop STEM improvement findings and recommendations.
Travel occasionally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree required. Education degree and Masters preferred.
Specific Skills: Strong analytical skills; facilitation; familiarity with STEM issues and initiatives; familiarity with the Department of Defense a plus.
Experience: Must have several years recent experience with an educational institution, grades K-12 preferred.
Superior oral and written communications skills.
Ability to qualify for a security clearance. Secret Clearance preferred. Top Secret a plus.
