Specific for the Recruiting Tower, the Sales Solutions & Design Lead is responsible for crafting the overall solution for a sales pursuit including the process, technology and transition approach and timing, responsible for crafting client-specific messages for RFP responses, developing and presenting the solution overview internally and to the client, responding to the client requested scope of services, developing the application migration strategy, identifying risks/challenges associated with the solution or implementation, acting in a QA role to ensure overall consistency or messaging and responses to the client, working with the deal team to articulate required investments and provide general consultative advice to the client regarding solution options and trade-offs throughout the process. Able to present solutions at client solution days and other client selling events.
Specific for the Recruiting, the Due Diligence responsibilities include working with the client through the Due Diligence process to validate key data, finalize scope, performance measures and a Transition plan.
Transition planning responsibilities include establishing milestones, identifying measures of success, developing the client relationship and identifying opportunities for expanding services. Responsible for transfer of client knowledge/solution design to the transition team and the ongoing service delivery/operations team.
Specific Accountabilities:
Craft overall client solution including the process and technology areas.
Organize and document RFP content.
Present the Hewitt solution in informal and formal venues.
Leader organizes the solutions team, potentially across assigned clients.
Deliverables and Performance Measures:
RFP response - Solution overview, scope of services, process details, investments
Client presentations
Product demonstrations
Due Diligence
Transition plans and Application Migration Strategies
Conditions:
Travel to client sites and around the Hewitt locations servicing the clients. Travel approximately 50%-60%
Qualifications:
Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Required:
BA/BS preferred. Preferred - work experience to include consulting with a large consulting firm. Additional work outside consulting. HR functional background, especially Recruiting, required.
Knowledge Base Required:
Good conceptual thinker
Analytical with excellent attention to detail
Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and solutions with good presence
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven experience
HR or large system lifecycle implementation experience
Understanding of application architecture and integration
HR content knowledge preferably with some depth in one key process area
Commercial mindset - understanding of deal model and appropriate level of investment for client
Demonstrated competencies in Communication, Client Management, Project Management, Financial Management, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, and Problem Solving & Decision Making.
Technical Competencies and Skills Required:
Good systems experience as part of a large systems implementation. Knowledge of HR, ERP solutions preferred, specifically Recruiting Management Systems (ie: Taleo, Deploy, Brassring, etc.). Deep technical experience not required. Ability to quickly understand the Hewitt solution model and ongoing operations. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project and Powerpoint.
