IT SECURITY ARCHITECT

 

UniSpec Enterprises ( http://www.unispec1.com) has an opening for an Information Assurance/Certification and Accreditation (C&A) analyst.  We are currently looking for a bright, talented professional with experience in performing C&A and information assurance/security services to join our rapidly growing professional services firm.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

The Oak Ridge Operations Office (ORO) is located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The contract is presently supported by NOLA and we are currently seeking incumbent personnel familiar with the program. The ORO mission is to lead, implement and improve field activities in the DOE core business areas of economic productivity, energy resources, science and technology development, national security and environmental cleanup to ensure they are technically sound, environmentally conscious, safe and cost effective.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

The existing contract requires work in the areas of computer operations, application design and software development, data communication and network support, computer hardware maintenance, end-user training and support, computer security and other information management services.

These services are in direct support of approximately 700 people in Oak Ridge Operations workforce in the Federal Office Building, Oak Ridge Operations site offices, and other facilities which are owned, leased or otherwise under the authority of Oak Ridge Operations.

Skill requirements:

 

We require a B.S. in relevant discipline (e.g. Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and Engineering etc.). We are seeking 5+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry. Professional Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CSIM, GIAC, CISA, MCSE, CISSP, CISA, CCNA are strongly preferred Big 4 experience in Security Risk Consulting, strongly preferred. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Firewalls, Cisco Networking, Security related tools and documentation. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team are also preferred. Must be able to handle confidential information in a strictly professional manner.

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Experience performing: Vulnerability Assessments Security Architecture Reviews Web Application Security Reviews Wireless Security Reviews Implementation of security tools and products Experience with Windows NT, 2000, and 2003. Strong UNIX skills desired in any of the major UNIX Operating Systems. Knowledge of ISO 17799 and other leading security standards is also desired. Incident Response experience is a plus. IT audit experience as a secondary skill is a plus.
