Job Description

 

As part of the Information Technology Systems Division (ITSD), the BPR Analyst will be part of a business process reengineering team to analyze and recommend improvements to the current processes in ITSD relating to:

?  Fulfillment of the requests from the internal clients;

?  Management of the service level agreements;

?  Processing of the charge backs.

 

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in developing project plans under the direction of the BPR Team Lead;Work with Team Leader in mapping processes, updating process maps, and revising processes; Identify processes that require improvement and re-design those processes;Gather and analyze information for developing overall business solution for the services;The successful analyst will possess a working knowledge of relevant process management and fulfillment technologies and the ability to apply this knowledge to solving business problems.

 

 

Qualifications

?  Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates as required to complete tasks;

?  Ability to create project work plans, estimating work effort, project budgeting, and resource scheduling;

?  Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills required;

?  Organized, creative, flexible, and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines;

?  Exposure to product and service catalog, SLA and charge back operations is a plus;

?  A clear understanding of the system development lifecycle.

?  Advanced level proficiency in using Visio software; 

?  Strong knowledge of process mapping methodologies;

?  Prior consulting experience preferred;

?  Excellent written and oral communication skills;

?  ITIL certification preferred

 


Experience:

?  7-10 years of related experience;

?  Demonstrated working experience in process and systems analysis;

?  Experience preparing business/technical documentation (procedures, business processes system models, etc.);

?  Experience with business re-engineering methodologies;

?  Exposure to Helpdesk or Call Center operations is preferred;

?  Experience both at the national and international level and/or in the public and private sector preferred.

 

 

 

Education:

University degree in Computer or Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration or other related field; or the equivalent combination of education, certification and experience in relevant area. MBA is required.

 

Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; fluency in one or more official UN languages is highly desirable.
