Senior Consultant - Citrix Solutions

Project Leadership Associates, Inc. is a high growth, Chicago based, professional services company (over 115 full time professionals) that specializes in providing the mid-sized business marketplace with business and technology consulting solutions across its full breadth of Network Integration and technology solution practices.

 



PLA seeks an experienced senior consultant to help us continue to grow our Citrix solutions group through selling and implementing Citrix based solutions to Enterprise and Mid-Market customers. This technical lead position will be primarily responsible for participating in sales calls, architecting and implementing these solutions. The candidate must possess the following specific skill set experience to be considered:

 



- Sales, design, planning and implementation experience in Citrix systems including Presentation Server 3.0 or higher and associated Access Suite products (500+ seats)

- Desktop and application integration with XP and Windows 2003 including login script, registry and other related application integration and troubleshooting skills.

- MetaFrame Secure Access Manager

- Citrix Web Interface (NFuse)

- Citrix Secure Gateway experience

- Two-factor authentication products such as RSA SecureID

- Microsoft Active Directory and Windows 2003 Server

- Monitoring Citrix Servers/Farms using monitoring utilities such as MOM or equivalent

- Citrix CCA certification minimum, CCEA preferable

 

The following skills are desired:

- Citrix Presentation 4.0 experience

- Citrix Access Gateway experience

- Citrix Password Manager

- Microsoft certifications



 

The position will also be responsible for the following:



- Responsible for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects. Has moderate to heavy contact with middle and senior level executives and the client. Requires proven project management skills. Supports practice development initiatives. Supervises and reviews work of less experienced personnel.

- Perform systems reviews of client network environments and prepare findings documents outlining short and long-term strategies

- Facilitate and lead client configuration planning meetings for specific network technology projects.



 

Business Requirements for Position:

- 5 years minimum experience in networking and infrastructure technologies

- 2 years minimum consulting experience

- Excellent writing and documentation skills
