Senior Consultant, Strategy & Operations

The Strategy & Operations Sr. Consultant provides value added financial business advisory services to businesses. Will deliver these services in a timely, professional manner. Markets such services internally through establishing rapport and credibility with partners and other professionals and externally through a variety of professional and community networking activities.
-Meets with clients and conducts management consulting projects. Seeks assistance from other Consultants with expertise in unfamiliar areas.
-Prepares reports on consulting services performed for clients. Delivers reports where appropriate and discusses results and recommendations with clients.
-Provides on-going time and materials consulting services to established clients as needed and continually seeks business development opportunities for both consulting and traditional services.
-Documents consulting activities.
-Travels to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
-Works with Business Development Sales & Marketing Staff and Consulting Services Team to determine what services are to be emphasized and how they should be marketed.
-Completes client projects effectively and efficiently and maintains a high level of microcomputer proficiency.
-Completes daily time reporting according to firm standards, and assists in billing of time to clients as requested.
-Attends appropriate professional meetings and conferences and reads publications to maintain and expand professional knowledge as a Management Consultant.
-Attends and contributes to internal meetings as requested.
-Becomes involved in appropriate community and professional activities for exposure to clients, potential clients, networking and other business development opportunities.

Position Requirements:
To be considered, candidates should have:

-A four year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field of study.
-At least 3-5 years of highly successful experience as a financial manager, project manager, or business analyst.
-Current knowledge and ability to provide process analysis financial projections/modeling, accounting and financial business process improvements, profitability enhancement and contribution analysis studies, and financial due diligence on business acquisitions and other related services to business clients.
-Ability to work with clients through interviews, facilitated meetings, and brainstorming sessions.
-Desire and interest with pursuing a sales role within business services.
-Highly proficient with MS Office with an emphasis in excel spreadsheets.

Additional Experience Preferred but not Required:
-MBA
-Project Management
-Certified Management Accountant
-Certified Public Accountant
-2 years of Public Accounting experience.
