This Developer (also called Consultant and Senior Consultant) is a part of FTI Consulting?s most successful practice group, FLC - Technology Services.



This Developer will support the development of custom applications. These applications will vary and the Developer will be developing ASP.Net web applications, Middle Tier Frameworks, .Net windows applications, and Windows Services.

Responsible for design and development of applications



Creation of software requirements



Work with QA to verify application functionality



Aide in deployment of software





 

DEVELOPER SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ability to provide superior client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations



Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills



Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environment



1 - 4 years of C# experience



2 - 4 years of web development experience



Knowledge of Agile software processes such as XP and SCRUM.



Knowledge of TDD, OO Patterns, and Refactoring



Intermediate working knowledge of SQL Server (Possess the ability to write and edit stored procedures and SQL scripts)



Ability to travel when requested (25% Max, Likely 2 - 3 days every 2 months) - (Must possess sufficient credit to meet travel requirements of the job, i.e., rental cars, hotel accommodation, meals while on work assignments, etc.)





 

SENIOR DEVELOPER SKILLSET:

All of the above



2 - 4 years of C# experience



2 - 4 years of ASP.NET



1 - 2 year of Agile software processes such as XP and SCRUM. Should understand Agile Planning and Estimating with experience in gathering User Stories.



1 - 2 years of TDD including experience with common Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, NUnit, TFS?)



3+ years of OO with a deep knowledge of common Patterns and Principles, including Interface Driven Designs





 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor?s Degree required
