Senior IBM/NetApp Implementation Engineer
IBM/NetApp Storage Engineers needed!
Responsibilities:
? Customer installations
? End-user customer satisfaction of all installed products and/or services
? Meeting service revenue goals
? Develop strong customer relationships and guarantee customer satisfaction on all products and services
? Post install support
? Pre-Sales architectural support
? Ongoing follow up with sales team on all account activities
? Maintain current and appropriate levels of technical certifications
? Internal computing/networking needs
? Documentation
? Certifications
Qualifications:
? Strong communication skills and sense of urgency
? Detail oriented
? Degree or 5+ years relative experience
? Must live or be willing to live in Houston, Dallas, or Austin
? Must be willing to travel
? Must sign Employee Agreements to include non-compete and confidentiality agreements
? IBM product installation knowledge in pSeries/AIX, Storage, Tivoli Storage Manager, xSeries, and VMware a plus
? NetApp product installation knowledge in FAS9xx, FAS 3050, R200, Snap technologies (SnapMirror, SnapShot, SnapVault, etc.). Nuview a plus
? Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
? Customer-oriented professional with a commitment to excellence
? Experience in installation of products in IT to include: storage consolidation, server consolidation, and backup/recovery.
