Job Description:
Ajilon Consulting, part of the Adecco Group the world's largest staffing firm, is currently looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our New York City team. This is a direct hire opportunity to join an established and fast growing Information Technology staffing and consulting office with a heavy load of open, qualified requirements with top tier clients and a reputation for providing quality candidates. You will be joining a team of recruiters who focus on contingent, temp to hire and direct hire positions for all levels of candidates.

In this role you will recruit, source and place IT professionals in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, IT, Publishing and Media. Will identify potential candidates via traditional recruiting, Internet career sites, users groups, referrals and by utilizing an already existing talent database. Will interview prospective candidates, check references, schedule interviews, negotiate rates and serve as the candidates' main point of contact throughout the hiring cycle.

Job Experience:
Requires 3 or more years of recruiting experience preferably within the IT or technical arena. The successful candidate should have experience in the full cycle recruiting process as well as a good understanding of information technology. Requires an ability to handle short and long-term consulting positions as well as permanent needs with clients. Individuals with a desire to focus on direct hire positions only can be considered as well.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with technology professionals. Must also have the ability to work in a large, fast paced corporate environment and should have a strong desire for career growth.
