Senior VoIP Consultant

 Basic Requirements:

1)Must have Cisco CallManager implementation experience to be considered.

2) Must live within a commuteable distance Washington DC

3) Must have the ability to gain government clearance.

Callisma focuses on assisting larger businesses with some of their most complex communications challenges, including operations management, Voice over IP (VoIP), Internetworking, security, and storage solutions. Callisma consultants enable corporations to design and deploy infrastructure which will enhance their service and business performance.



 

AT&T is seeking experienced Voice over IP consultants to act as a Senior Consultants to AT&T?s customers. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years IT industry experience, five (5) years of advanced networking experience, and five (5) years of converged networking experience including Cisco CallManager implementation experience. Must be familiar with and possess demonstrable experience with Voice over IP, call management, messaging, and computer-telephony integration.

Must have strong or architect level experience in business justification, planning, designing, integrating, and deploying best-in-breed platforms and framework technologies in the following functional areas:

 WAN technology, Quality of Service, fault resiliency, and load balancing. Voice network architecture and design. Performing technology and cost evaluations such as ROI and RFP processes. Developing business and technology strategies for complex VoIP networks. Architecting, planning, designing, installation, and operating VoIP deployments. Architecting, planning, designing, installing, and operating wide area networks. Creating capacity management processes for complex service provider or enterprise networks. Internet planning, architecture, design and implementation. EIGRP, OSPF and other IP and LAN protocols application, design, configuration, and troubleshooting.


As a consultant to AT&T / Callisma customers, must be able to demonstrate strong business acumen, commitment to task, tolerance of ambiguity, versatility, problem solving, and written and oral communications skills. Candidates must have experience in developing IT operational process flows and documenting roles, responsibilities, and procedures. Position requires broad experience working with client personnel at all organizational levels.

Must have extensive experience with planning, design, and implementation of one or more vendors Voice over IP, call management, messaging, and computer-telphony integration offerings: Cisco, Nortel, Avaya, Alcatel, Mitel, or other vendors. Must have previous experience with legacy switched voice technologies, call numbering plans, loss plans, compression, and traffic theory.

Consultants will be required to travel depending on what project they are assigned to. Travel can be anywhere between 50-90%.
