Our products are targeted to the Automotive Retail industry with a primary focus on marketing. Our clients include AutoNation, Toyota, Tire Kingdom, Polk, CarMax, Sonic and hundreds of individual or smaller dealer groups.

? Red Rocket is continuing to add to it?s IT department and is looking to hire a permanent C#/VB.Net Sr. Developer to the team. This opportunity is in Jacksonville, FL and no travel is required.

Job Duties

?3+ years of solid C# experience is required. Must have worked in a development capacity. Product development experience is a plus but not required. 5+ years of MS Sql is a plus.

? Codes application programs according to Company coding standards and conventions, and in accordance with system design as determined by the appropriate Analyst. 

? Communicates knowledge of applications, knowledge of tools and system interfaces effectively to other team members as required.

? Develops and maintains custom applications and works with existing package applications to address business functional needs.

? Creates interfaces as needed.

? At the direction of a Manager maintains applications to ensure each operates as designed.

? Assists Analyst in design of systems and defining specifications.

? Solves application problems accurately and in a timeframe needed to fit each situation.

? Ensures tasks are completed within dates set.

 

Required Experience & Skills

? 3+ years solid experience in programming technologies including ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, XML, HTML, IIS, JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Studio.Net.

? Any experience working with front end reporting tools is a plus i.e. Crystal Reports.

? Experience with custom server control development.

? Four years relevant progressive IT experience in programming.

? Strong knowledge of relational databases & experience with database design, normalization, and stored procedures. MS Sql experience ? ability to write stored procedures, create tables, write quires, etc. is a strong plus.

? Experience with Software Engineering processes and best practices including a working knowledge of object oriented design.

?  Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by working in a collaborative environment.

? Demonstrates high level of technical proficiency.
