Sr Oracle DBA for HR Global Data Warehouse

Job Description:
The CAS Infrastructure GDW team is seeking to
partner with a vendor that can provide one
resource with knowledge and skills in development
DBA for the HR GDW application. We seek
demonstrated experience working with World Class
organizations. Resources must understand best
practices in Data Warehouse environments and be
skilled in DBA support methodology specific to
DW. This will be a great opportunity for the
individual to work with some of the top notch
technologies like AIX 5.3, SMT, virtualization,
Oracle10gR2, ASM, Informatica 8.1, SharePlex and
so on.

In-scope resources will focus primarily on the
following activities:
" GDW Application and Database Server
administration in all development environments.

" Support AD team and business with GDW
design, development, tuning and support
activities.
" Help and participate with GDW
infrastructure tasks
" Perform monitoring of performance and

Additional Position Requirements: Majority of the recent DBA experience must be in Oracle 9i/10g. Should have worked on 500+ GB databases. ASM and SharePlex is a plus.
