Major Financial Services Firm located in Midtown Manhattan currently has a opening for a skilled Sr. Unix Administrator to provide day to day user and development support

Candidate must have substantial experience with:

--Unix (Solaris) and other core system tools such as NIS, DNS and NFS

--Disk management tools such as Disk suite and Veritas Volume manager

--Disk management tools such as Veritas Cluster server

--SAN technology and its impact on the server environment

--Troubleshooting Skills

--Distributed Systems Management

--Securities/Financial

Qualified candidates who also have the following experience will be preferred:

--Linux

--System management tools such as Control-M and Netbackup
-- Financial Services environment strongly preferred
