Statistical Programmer
POSITION AVAILABLE-Statistical Programmer
Synectechs, a small consulting company specializing in biostatistical services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, has an opening for a full-time Statistical Programmer in our Southeastern Connecticut office.
Summary of Position:
Develop and/or modify, validate, and execute SAS programs to create tables, listings, graphs, and statistical analyses for data from clinical trials.
Qualifications:
B.S/M.S. Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; 2-year or more SAS experience necessary. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Attention to quality of work is essential.
Skills/Experience:
Proficiency with various SAS products (base, stat, graph, FSP, macros). Familiarity with Miscrosoft Windows, Unix, VMS. Excellent analytical, problem solving and strong communication skills. Experience in clinical trials preferred.
