Statistician - Outcomes Research

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Statistician in our Boston office.

 

Major responsibilities:

 Playing a critical role in supporting project directors and managers in analyzing pharmacoeconomic, data and patient reported outcomes (PROs) and validating PROs;Selecting appropriate statistical techniques for psychometric evaluation and trial analyses;Writing statistical analysis plans;Managing large administrative and clinical datasets;Analyzing the data;Generating tables, listings and graphs;Reporting the results;Client interaction.

 

Job requirements:

 SAS skills (intermediate to advanced);Superb data cleaning, analytical and organizational skills;Excellent writing skills;Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to timelines;Prior experience in industry, consulting or an academic setting;Previous experience in clinical trials and/or quality of life analyses;Previous client interaction;BS in Biostatistics (or related field) and 2 years experience in late stage clinical trials or PRO validation studies OR MA/PhD in Biostatistics or Quantitative Psychology/Psychometrics (or related field) and 1 year experience in late stage clinical trials or PRO validation studies; Fluency in English.
