Responsibilities

To develop applications for the director of research. These applications will range from VBA Macros to assist the director in his day-to-day functions, to enterprise class n-tier applications that assist the firm in gathering and managing research.

?

Responsibilities include gathering business specs from the director and end users, designing technical solutions to meet these requirements, developing applications and/or implementing 3rd party solutions, and seeing each project through its entire life cycle.

Requirements

- 3-5 years experience in a formal development environment.

- Strong C# programming experience is required.

- Strong ASP/ASP.NET programming experience is required.

- Strong knowledge in financial market is a required.

- SQL programming experience with emphasis on writing stored procedures is required (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle ? is required.

- Experience with SQL Server 7.0 or 2000 is a plus.

- Strong ADO experience is required.

- Crystal Reports experience is a plus.

-? Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.

- Good analytical skills and design skills are required.

- B.S. degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline is a plus.

- MCAD/MCSD certification is a plus.
