Technical Integration Consultant

We need an experienced Technical Integration Consultant to work on implementation projects as a technical specialist responsible for the technical aspects of deploying our analytics technology, including customization or integration of software and systems.
Primary duties involve working with the customer and the consulting project team to install and configure software; you will regularly design and develop any needed or desired customizations, most often involving integration of software with operational systems, and occasionally with large-scale customer data management and warehouse systems.

We require a proven technical skill set that has included the deployment of enterprise business applications. Another desirable skill set would be an understanding of exposure to predictive analytics and statistical data mining, and/or experience with applying such technology to business problems. This individual will interact with all levels of the organization and marketplace and will have a significant role in our fast-growing Bellevue-based software company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and retain mastery of primary technologies used in analytics solutions by leveraging existing knowledge, studying the latest technology, and attending professional technical training,
Install and configure solutions, design, develop, and test customizations and integration of analytics solutions.
Participate in or lead meetings where customer business requirements and development objectives are defined.
Provide guidance to the customer and project teams with respect to technical feasibility, complexity, and level of effort required to deliver a solution.
Assist with incorporating customization and integrations tasks into overall project plan.
Execute specific tasks on the project work plan such as:Software installation, configuration and testing
Customization design
Customization development
Customization testing
Train customer personnel on use and administration of the delivered solution
Document delivered solutions including customizations.Responsible for the execution of the project work plan. Work with internal project team members and customer management personnel, to ensure completion is on schedule and on budget.
Provide technical team mentorship and leadership through instructing internal technical consulting courses.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

MS Windows Server and/or Linux server administration skills
Ability to represent Intelligent Results Software Corporation in a professional manner to customers and the business community at large.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, physical sciences or math) preferred.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience with business IT integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting or corporate IT environment.
Fluency in two or more of the following technology families:
Java 2 server application programming
Microsoft .Net application programming
Perl programming for large-scale text data manipulation
Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle database usage, programming, deployment and administration, preferably with significant exposure to OLAP, data warehousing concepts and large-scale data management.Additional desirable technical skills include:MS Windows Server and/or Linux server administration skills
Experience with Crystal Reports report development environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Consulting personnel at Intelligent Results tend to travel 25% - 50% of their work time to client sites or on sales visits. Client visit are typically once a month for 2-4 days, sometimes more depending on the needs of the project.
The general work environment usually involves working in a temporary workspace, often a multi-person cubical or office, or may be in a computer machine room with elevated noise levels where air conditioning may be required.
The Consulting team at Intelligent Results does offer flexible work hours when not traveling to client locations.
