Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist

Overview

Performance Technology Associates, Inc. (PTA) is currently seeking qualified candidates to join its team of documentaton and training professionals. PTA has an immediate opening for an experienced documentation professional who will work on project teams designing and developing an array of client solutions, including manuals, guides, Help, eLearning content and similar information products.

 

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, content developer or similar role
* Demonstrated experience capturing content via SME interviews and observations
* Demonstrated experience consulting to external clients and organizations to assess needs, analyze content and develop user-centered documentation solutions
* Ability to travel to client locations across U.S.

 

Preferences

* Experience in structured writing methodology, either DocuTools or Information Mapping
* Experience and interest in designing and developing training
* Experience and interest in delivering classroom instruction/workshops
