Senior Technical Architect will provide a foundation for developing technical and operational architectures, for defining services, and for identifying standards for all IT systems. In developing the technology architecture, TA will:
1) Develop a high-level Technical Reference Model that corresponds to the Federal Enterprise Architecture Technical Reference Model core services areas, service categories,
service standards, and service specifications. 2)Relate critical applications to technology by assessing the maturity of the application systems, and identify obsolete technologies that may be candidates for replacement.3)Identify a suite of standard products for each of the core service area.

Skills:
????????? Application Architecture
-????????? Application development and integration using Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) or Microsoft .NET in a service oriented architecture.
-????????? Integration of legacy systems with SAP, PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP packages with other applications.
-????????? Object-oriented analysis, design, and development using object-oriented design tools such as Rational Rose.
-????????? N-Tier client/server development using an application development suite such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Rational Suite and IBM WebSphere Studio.
-????????? Application design and development using two or more of the following languages: Microsoft Visual Basic, C / C++
(any vendor), Java (any vendor) or COBOL.
????????? Data Architecture
-????????? Database analysis, design, and implementation using one or more of the following database platforms IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or Sybase SQL Server.
-????????? Database design and modeling using a database design tool.
-????????? Client / server application database performance tuning.
-????????? Database administration on one or more of the platforms listed above.
-????????? Distributed data replication analysis, design and implementation.
-????????? Data warehouse or data mart analysis, design and implementation.
Consultants should have Middleware experience, Knowledge of data migration tools, Writing interfaces and developing specifications based on business requirements, Data modeling including logical and physical modeling, Database design and implementation, System engineering and Enterprise architecture experience, Possible ERP (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Momentum) system configuration
and/or operations

- Experience developing and implementing enterprise architectures in U.S. Federal or State government organizations.
- Experience developing and implementing IT strategies and IT strategic plans in U.S. Federal or State government organizations.
- Experience designing, developing and implementing technology integration solutions.
- Exceptional people and team motivation skills.
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Experience in Federal Government IT -- 5+ years
- Accounting system or ERP (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Momentum) implementation experience
- Motivated and detail oriented individual
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Vision, Excel, Access, and Project
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
