Telecommunications Consultant

Michigan CPA firm seeking an experienced telecommunications business and financial consultant to assist our clients in marketing, managing, developing and expanding their businesses. 

Qualifications include:  Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to rural telecommunication entities:  familiarity with regulatory and technical issues relating to the rural telecommunications industry;  experience in analyzing, developing, implementing and monitoring effective business strategies in areas as diverse as ILEC, CLEC, Internet, and Cable TV operations, revenue assurance, interconnection agreements, inter-carrier compensation agreements, tariff, pooling, USF, rate-making, budgeting, forecasting, and depreciation;  Ability to serve as a negotiation liaison between clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, legal counsel and contractual parties;  strong communication skills; bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA and/or CPA certification a plus.
