Vice President, Central Compliance Risk Management

This position is responsible for a wide range of compliance risk management functions in an oversight capacity.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Administration of Central Compliance?s direct testing program, which involves program tracking, change management oversight and development/application of tolerances and triggers reflecting the Company?s appetite for compliance risk.
- Risk-based reporting, including refinement of existing reports/processes and identification of new reporting sources. This also includes extensive use of the compliance risk management system.
- Project support relating to the implementation/refinement of the Company?s compliance risk management system, which includes expanding system functionality and reporting capabilities.
- Refinement of the Company?s compliance governance infrastructure, involving standardization of compliance committee content (reporting, minutes, agendas).
- End-to-end compliance risk management.
- Managing systems and processes, ensuring new or modified regulatory risks are properly identified, documented and reported.
- Development of compliance risk indicators and performance indicators.
- Ad-hoc reporting and presentations targeted at executive management.

A success candidate will have:
- Familiarity with financial/statistical/risk management fundamentals.
- A basic understanding of Federal and State compliance regulatory requirements.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, Visio, and Internet skills.
- Ability to produce regular and ad-hoc requests accurately, efficiently and often under tight deadlines, with little or no supervision, for executive audiences,
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Initiative to drive projects, reporting and tasks to completion.

The ideal candidate may also possess:
- Exposure to large, complex, federally-regulated financial institutions.
- Moderate to advanced understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel and/or Access skills.
