VP - Utilties Consulting

Job Description: SAIC seeks a Senior professional to grow BCT (Business Consulting and Technology Services) - specifically in the area of Utilities Information Technology and Systems Integration including Supply Chain, Asset Management / ISO/ITO, AMI.. The BCT group leverages SAIC?s deep scientific and technology experience with end to end process and technology solutions including software solutions from MRO, Indus, SAP and other leading vendors to help companies and business units grow through improved operational performance. This individual will assume a senior role responsible for sales and delivery of process and technology to selected customers in key market segmentss. The r ole will manage the overall development of opportunities from concept to delivery and therefore should be experienced in discussing the major issues that effect the achievement of both enterprise and operational objectives with senior and line management. The successful candidate will have over experience in the development of technology strategies and solutions as well as selection and implementation of EAM solutions like MRO, SAP or other leading software vendors. Crafting end to end solutions including these applications and other relevant offerings in an integrated technical environment will be necessary as well as experience in the structure of professional services offerings and proposals. A demonstrable track record in the sale and delivery of these solutions as a project or program manager over multiple project life cycles is required. The successful lead candidate will have acquired experience in recent years in both technical and business process skills in multiple information technologies - architecting solutions, interpreting business requirements; data mapping and modeling; developing technology specifications and configuring applications. Travel may be required.

Education: Bachelors Degree in business, management, computer science, engineering, or related field. MBA or Advanced degree preferred.

Required Skills: *Possesses5-10 years of industry and/or consulting experience implementing EAM solutions in the oil and gas industry. *Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills. *Able to manage multiple projects across US regions. *Able to develop and articulate business value of technology based solutions. *Mature interpersonal skills and comfortable with difficult issues in front of Senior Management. *Deep understanding of the use of technology solutions in operations and maintenance environments of utilities.

Desired Skills: *Solid understanding of package enabled business process engineering concepts, project quality and risk management concepts. *Strong project management and account management practices. *Preference for candidates with functional or process knowledge in the utilities industry. *Implementation experience at the enterprise level.
