VP of Communications, Information Technology Division

Our client is a very successful, national?financial organization looking for a Vice President of Communications to support the?a national?IT organization.? This position will be based in either Plano, Texas or Chandler, AZ.? Southern California candidates, based out of Simi Valley, will also be considered if they are able to travel 2 weeks/month.?

Serving?as a high viability player on?the IT Organizational Development team, you will be dedicated to the advancement, measurement, and improvement of IT and to supporting the divisional leadership. ?The group incorporates such functions as Employee Development, Organization Effectiveness, Culture Management, Communications, and IT Administration.

Job Duties:

?Develop and implement strategies for communicating and reinforcing messages to targeted employee audiences across IT.?Serve as liaison, develop partnerships, and coordinate communications strategies and calendars with Corporate Communications, AT Communications, and individual communicators with Business Units. Provide communications support for initiatives aimed at improving and reinforcing the corporate culture.??Partner with IT leaders and communicators to align culture initiatives and promote a consistent internal branding.??Serve as a strategic advisor to IT management on issues impacting IT employees and promote consistency between IT and the business groups. Utilize new media to create interactive, interesting, and efficient ways for employees to gain and share information. Design and implement methodologies to gain and maintain awareness of current employee and management perceptions.??


Attributes & Skills:

?Bachelor?s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, English, journalism or a related field or equivalent experience as defined below.Ten years of progressive experience in marketing or marketing communications with a minimum of five years at a managerial level.??Advanced degree in communications, organizational psychology or MBA in related field is preferred. Experience in HR or HR-related field is helpful. Expertise in advertising, branding and marketing of concepts.??Excellent written and oral communication skills required to present to a senior management audience.??Compensation package is very competitive and comprehensive, with salary targeted from $120K and up for the right candidate.
