IBM is seeking Consultants with strong knowledge of warehouse management operations, software and industry. 3 - 5 years external consulting experience, with at least 2 full project lifecycles. Some level of Warehouse Management industry experience preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate client requirements/processes into configuration and development specifications. Excellent organizational skills. This role assists clients in the selection, implementation, and support of application packaged solutions. They use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. Bachelors Degree or equivalent knowledge of Warehouse Management preferred. Since most of our work is performed at client sites, this position requires up to 100% travel. It is recommended that new hires into the IBM Global Business Services U.S. practice must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the following cites: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC and surrounding area.
